Duties: Under the supervision of the Community Life Manager, the Home Supervisor will provide daily supervision to staff at assigned Community Living homes to ensure that all program objectives are being met and that the services provided meet the needs of the persons supported in compliance with all licensing standards. Provide direct support to people with disabilities by assuring the following: relationships, community involvement and integration, power and choice, health and safety, and competence. Provide for activities of daily living by serving meals and feeding as necessary; ambulating, turning, and positioning persons supported; cleaning and home maintenance activities. Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate and professional; assist with information gathering to identify personal outcomes desired and effect of supports. Ensure that all home, vehicle, and personal property maintenance needs are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D., with at least one year experience supervising staff is preferred. Thorough knowledge in the areas of developmental disabilities, principles of normalization and community integration is required. Good problem solving skills. Must have a valid MS, AR, or TN driver's license with F Endorsement or equivalent and a good driving record.
