DUTIES: The Billing Coordinator, as supervised by the Funding Manager, will be responsible for compiling and coordinating documentation for billing of the agency's services. This includes (but not limited to) reviewing billing documentation for accuracy, problem/discrepancy resolution, information tracking, scanning and filing billing documentation, entering billing information into internal and external databases/systems, distributing billing for data entry, providing audit information, and following up with the program department, person supported advocate/liason, and Regional Office/MCO regarding discrepancies. Will be responsible for billing all revenue sources, reconciliation of billing, and assisting the Billing Department with submitting documentation for reimbursement.
REQUIREMENTS: Associate's degree or related experience in an accounting environment. Skills required include effective problem resolution, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, good written and oral communication skills, accurate data entry skills, and excellent organizational skills. Also must be competent in most common computer software applications to include MS Office.
