Duties: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Community Employment, the Employment Consultant's primary responsibility is to provide vocational services to individuals by maximizing their potential and utilizing best practices in job readiness, assessment, job development, job coaching, and job retention activities. Other primary responsibilites include providing support and training to employers and businesses in the community who are interested in diversifying their workforce.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree required. Certified Employment Support Professional (CESP) credential or ability to obtain the credential within the first 6 months of hire is required. Experience working in the fields of human resources, sales or social services preferred. Experience in job development is preferred. Must possess the ability to exercise good judgement and must have working knowledge of general computer skills and possesss the ability to learn and obtain proficiency in computer programs used or developed by the agency. Must have a F-Endorsement on driver's license and maintain an insurable driving record.
